摘要

To improve the strip crown and shape of rolled material, the Double Chock Work Roll Bending system (DC-WRB) has been developed. In this study, 2 units of DC-WRB have been applied to the continuous hot strip finishing line, and the ability of the strip crown control by DC-WRB has been confirmed experimentally and analytically. We could obtain the maximum control range of the strip crown by the DC-WRB on a single stand which is more than 2.5 times that of the conventional work roll bending system, and that the ability was found to be enlarged broadly by more than one stand linkage. Furthermore, we could realize quantitatively the relations between the strip shape and the change of the strip crown, and the dumping characteristics of the strip crown which are caused by the relation between the exit and the entry side crown at the stands that is staged after the DC-WRB stand. Based upon these characteristics and by using DC-WRB, we have confirmed that the method improves finished strip crown and shape simultaneously.
