Numerical Study Using FDS on Toxicity of Combustion Gases in ISO9705-1 Room/Corner configuration

摘要

A fire of red lauan in Room/Corner configuration wassimulated using FDS. Compared to temperature, the value of FEDwas small, which does not significantly affect evacuation, butevacuees still have danger from heat of fire. Therefore red lauanwas found suitable as reference material in this case study.Actually, there is no validation from experiment of thissimulation. Authors plan to conduct fire experiments usingRoom/Corner apparatus in the future. A simple room was used inthis study, but a bigger room with more furniture will be used toconsider evacuation safety in real buildings.
