In this paper, the impact on voltage profiles, rotor angle and rotorspeed (frequency) are observed when about 90% output of three PVplants is tripped at the same time. Comparing to the total installcapacity of Myanmar National Grid, the penetration of the PVsystem is about 8%. From the simulation results, there aresignificant impacts not only on the voltage profile of buses but alsoon the rotor angle and frequency of the power system. For the futuregeneration mix for the power system of Myanmar, the penetrationlevel of the PV power is needed to consider which may lead tosevere concerns for the stability as well as the reliability of thepower system.
