In this paper, analysis of gyrator circuit and its usefulness as filter circuit component is analyzed. Important property of gyrator is to inverts voltage current characteristic of an electrical component. It si possible to realize inductors from capacitors. As a result of this property, it is possible to use gyrator circuit along with capacitance for realizing inductors in CMOS technology. Different filter circuits using gyrator circuit one component are simulated on Cadence environment. PDK(Process Development KIT) of 180nm technology is used for the simulation
