System Migration for a Weapon Maintenance Data Collection and Analysis System: An Experience Report

摘要

The performance of a weapon system can be monitored by a maintenance data collection and analysis system. After years of operations, the military decides to migrate the software system to adapt new technology and improve the system performance. Meanwhile, the requirement elicitation processes are enhanced by coordinating the endusers and management-level for requirements review. The analysis results are improved by assuring related responsibilities and better communication truly improves the integrated team works. This paper reports on the experiences on the software system migration and lessons learned are discussed.
