Simultaneous Achievement of Large Negative Dispersion and High Birefringence in the Single-mode Photonic Crystal Fibers with Hexagonal Double Cladding

The article designs a novel hexagonal double cladding photonic crystal fiber with the inner-cladding elliptical hole. A large negative dispersion of −1068.78 ps/nm/km and high birefringence of 1.01×10^{−2 are achieved at 1.55 µm. © 2020 The Author(s)}
