With the complexity of system modeling, more and more fields need to analyze the interaction effects between multiple type of systems, especially between continuous system and discrete system. However, existing cosimulation for continuous-discrete system suffer from the contradiction of accuracy and speed. One of the most critical issues influencing the performance is the synchronization method between multiple simulators. In this paper, to efficiently solve the data interchange problem of simulators, a State-Caching-Based Synchronization Method (SCBSM) is proposed to balance accuracy and efficiency. The system status is stored at critical moments for backtracking the simulation process when necessary, thus the non-essential data interactions are reduced. Based on this method, a testbed for cyber-physical power system (CPPS) cosimulation is designed, and the effectiveness and advantages of proposed method is demonstrated through simulation results.
