The paper deals with the research project of integrating solar power stations to a Pamir power system located in the Republic of Tajikistan. The solar cells are considering for paired utilization with small Hydropower plants. Especially the three hydropower plants interconnected to a chain. Nowadays the Pamir power system suffers the luck of active power and poor voltage quality. The exciting power stations highly depend on the year season and dryness. The administration of the region is looking for appropriate ways of solving current problems with voltage levels. The authors have attempted to analyze the future of solar energy within the given situation. The mathematical model has been developed for investigation of solar power station impact on the power system regime. The Pamir power network and solar power station model have been implemented in the PSCAD software package. The paper presents the detailed model description and results of the simulation.
