Effects of exercises on the back with different speed have been tested by young karatekas' roundhouse kicking and three static exercises. Changing of angles of the kicking- and the holding legs were examined before and after a half-year therapy. 8 karatekas performed four groups, each got a specific strengthening program. Control(1), Classic(2), Classic with constant muscle tone(3), Steady Motion Fitness(4). The 20 week practice twice a week with an individually fitted exercise repetition number. Steady Motion Fitness has come up to expectations in the case of the young karatekas, and proved to be more efficient in improving the required muscles than the other traditional strength training methods.
