Power transformer noise control is inevitable requirement of time in order to protect people's health and the environment. As the transformer noise is mainly concentrated in frequency below 1500 Hz so a more precise noise canceller is needed. Unlike other noise remotion scheme that fails below 500 Hz, adaptive filters utilization in ANC model accomplishment is most efficient. The following research presents simulation of active noise controller in MATLAB/Simulink based on LMS algorithm. Simulation results are discussed to show that the noise of real power transformer can be reduced through the ANC model presented.
