This study presents the development of a virtual lab for demonstration of the temperature lag during a dynamic heat transfer. It contains a heating stove, a thermocouple and a multimeter. The thermal modelling is based on an equivalent electric circuit, which accounts for convective, conductive and radiative heat transfer. Unlike a real experiment, where the temperature can be measured, the developed virtual lab shows not only the measured temperature, but also the actual one. This way, students can observe the difference in the two temperatures during a transient heat transfer.
