摘要

A 94 GHz frequency-modulated continuous-wave radar with a 3-element array receiver is developed as a base for creating a focal-plane array imaging system with higher range. Each array element consists of a low-barrier Schottky diode that is mounted on a modified slot antenna, with the array pitch of about 4 mm. The intermediate frequency current of the diode is transformed to the output voltage with a transimpedance amplifier. A design of the developed radar and its modules is described in this paper, and the results of studying 3-element receiver sensitivity are presented. It is shown that the application of the frequency-modulated continuous-wave radar method allows increasing the range of the focal-plane array imaging system by 30 times.
