After lightning strikes the wind turbine, the lightning current flows into the ground along the tower, generating electromagnetic pulses inside the tower, which poses a great threat to the electronic devices inside the tower and affects the safe and stable operation of the wind turbine. In order to study the lightning electromagnetic environment of the wind turbine tower, the wind turbine tower was modeled by simulation software. The influence of the electromagnetic field distribution inside the tower and the grounding method of the internal cable shielding layer on the induced voltage and current of the lightning electromagnetic field on the cable during a lightning strike is analyzed, which provides theoretical support for the protection of the weak current system inside the wind turbine tower during a lightning strike and has certain reference value.
