Wireless sensor network contain various application such as health monitoring, military tracking and other. Awareness of the potential of WSNs,along with its feature to adapt itself according to the given surroundings it is known by all,but there are also major drawbacks that comes along with these features.Some of the drawbacks are its high energy usage,more bandwidth absorption and high power consumption when compared to the available resources. Replacement of sensor nodes is impractical so we try to maximize the life time of network.Already,energy efficiency is a growing area of research for wireless sensor networks.Various aspect that are considered to increase the energy efficiency such as redundancy, transmission cost etc. Clustering plays important role to increase the network life time and stability of network. In this paper we improved the performance of EESAA algorithm with the help of (i) Cluster head election (ii) Balance cluster heads (iii) Multi hop strategy.
