Exploring a Business Model for Digitalized T-earning Platforms - A PKM Perspective

Since the new millennium, we have seen waves of bubbles promised by digitalization have burst and the T-earning programs are not exceptional. For these digitalized T-earning (teaching/learning) platforms, it seems that the existing criticism that ordinary schools do not fulfill the demand of T-earner also applies. Are there alternatives to have a breakthrough? This paper ventures to take a different perspective -^sPersonalized Knowledge management (PKM) - to address the above issue. It seeks to build a business model as a foundation for an alternative digitalized T-earning platform under the assumption that business models may offer knowledge workers' motivation at the conceptual level to look for some anticipated results such as value proposition, market supplies, resource system, and financial model. The paper in the end concludes that PKM could be a new frontier to break away the burden of traditional knowledge management and a fresh ground for T-earning.
