摘要

A novel modular coupled-resonator filtering magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna is presented in this paper. The main objective is to achieve a highly integrated filtering antenna (Filtenna). The Ka-band ME dipole antennas are effectively fed by cavity backed double slots. The stack-layer coupled-resonators implemented by LTCC substrate integrated cavity (SIC) technique are used to achieve a compact fourth-degree Filtenna with superior radiation and impedance matching performance for mm-wave 5G array antenna applications. Compared with previous works, the proposed Filtenna demonstrates a unique performance and promising results in terms of the flat gain profile with a realized gain of 5.4 dB as well as a return loss and steep roll-off close-to-band rejection better than 15 dB and -20 dB, respectively.
