Experimental Determination of the Impulse Released by Electron-Positron Annihilations for Applications in Beamed Core Propulsion

This paper describes the experimental designs and plans taking place at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. These plans entail the measurement of the impulse released by positron-electron annihilations in development of exotic propulsion concepts. This measurement will be the first test ever conducted to experimentally prove the concept behind a beamed core antimatter propulsion system. By calibration of a Cavendish Balance, the impulse bit released from positron-electron annihilations will be measured.
