摘要

The experimental investigation and theoretical analysis proved practical applicability of the composite girder having shear connectors STRIPCON and steel girder with undulating web. The strength as well as deflection at service load level of such a composite girder corresponds reasonably with simple calculation using Eurocode 4. Care need to be taken when calculating deflections as the connector behaviour is ductile. Application of commercially available general-purpose finite element package ANSYS to 3D materially non-linear analysis of composite girder with thin-walled undulating steel web and discretely distributed shear connection of various degrees of partial shear connection and ductile behaviour was proposed with success. The proposed model proved to describe complex behaviour of all the tested girders with high accuracy and seems to be appropriate for subsequent parametrical investigation.
