The interest of reuse existing components lies in the idea ofreducing the efforts to develop new systems. The best reuse is achievedif no new components are required to be built. Most of the time,however, this ideal case is not feasible, and at least part of thesystem is required to be designed. For such cases, the new elementsbeing constructed must be as simple as possible in order to takeadvantages of the reuse principles. This paper presents a technique toreuse synchronous hardware components as a single level combinationalcircuit is required to be built.
