Intelligent control covers a wide range of technologies related tohard-sciences such as the control theory and soft-sciences such as theartificial intelligence. In a control solution, by broadening our viewson what can count as information spectrum-deep or shallow-we can pursuesynergistic integrations. The new concepts emerge and computationallyefficient product structures based on hybrid technologies becomefeasible. We present here some philosophical perspectives and give twonew product concepts using the hybrid technologies
