Product safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements of ana.c. filter

In order for electronic companies to compete in the global marketplace, electronic products must meet both product safety andelectromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. For many largecompanies, each discipline has a dedicated engineer, typically workingindependently of each other; whereas, for smaller companies, oneengineer must do the work of both. The authors have sought to combineproduct safety and EMC testing requirements in analyzing an a.c. filter.The aim is to show that product safety and EMC requirements can beconsidered simultaneously, and not independent of each other
