摘要

This paper presents a laminar flamelet structure model for non-premixed methane/air flames. The model is obtained using matched asymptotic analysis based on elementary reactions of the methane/air chemistry. The laminar flame structure is applied to the calculation of turbulent combustion through the use of presumed joint probability density function. The calculation is compared with experimental data in a modeled cylindrical combustion chamber. The results show that the new model improves the prediction accuracy of minor species, such as CO, H_2 and NO_x.
