Towards an evolutionary software delivery strategy based on softsystems and risk analysis

RACE is a requirements engineering method which is currently underdevelopment. This paper describes broadly the techniques developed sofar, reviews earlier work on how risk analysis might be incorporated inRACE and proposes an extension of the method to include evolutionarydelivery of proposed changes derived from the method. Proposed changesarising from RACE are often software related and tend to be radical andso are by nature high risk. Hence, these changes are well suited toevolutionary delivery.
