High Gain and High Contrast Front Projection Display System using Ambient Light Control Screen

摘要

Various large displays have been developed, such as PDP, large screen LCD, and projection-display. Of these, projection-displays are promising because of their compact size, high resolution, and low cost. However, there is a problem with the screen in that the contrast ratio decreases under bright ambient light. In this paper, we propose a new front projection display system that provides a high contrast ratio, even if the room is brightly lit, by designing an ambient light control screen.
