Error compensation in dimensional measurement of solenoid bynoncontacting probe using array leads

摘要

This paper describes the use of an array leads for the injectionof AC current in noncontacting probe and of main and auxiliary currentsin uniform field generation. The compensation methods of feasible errorsdue to imperfection of the leads are proposed in terms of effectivefield and correction of dimension by misalignment. The objective offurther experiments is to apply the technique to the measurement ofsolenoid dimension for the determination of proton gyromagnetic ratio inlow field
