The problem of a monopole antenna above a finite ground plane, isformulated as an integral equation and solved using the moment method(MM). The input impedance, the current distribution on the monopole andon the two surfaces of the disk, and the radiation pattern are computedfor various dimensions of both the monopole and the disk
