This paper describes a microprocessor based adaptive load voltageregulator using a series switched capacitor. A capacitor will beinserted for a percentage of each positive and negative half cycle. Thesystem load voltage is measured during every cycle by the microprocessorand compared with the desired value. Correspondingly, the microprocessorwill make adjustments to the period of time for which the seriescompensation capacitor is inserted into the circuit, thereby regulatingload voltage. The advantage of the proposed system is the fast andcontinuous regulation of load voltage
