Study and implementation of a real time 3×3 programmableconvolver with reconfigurable technology

The authors describe problems concerning the implementation of 2Dconvolution algorithms using reconfigurable technology. An approach forthe automatic design of specific architectures in this technology isdiscussed. The Xilinx programmable gate array (PGA) resources arepresented. The authors consider specially their time and area limits.They present an implementation of a real time 3×3 programmableconvolver with Xilinx XC 3090 PGA
