Differentiating American and European high-tech entrepreneurialventuring: toward the development of a global model

An interim research study of 26 American and 16 Europeanhigh-technology firms has been completed and comparisons have been madeto establish similarities and differences in venture processes, foundermotivations, effectiveness factors, teamwork skills, and growthparameters. Data and information were gathered in a comprehensivequestionnaire, telephone and conference interviews, and publiclyavailable resources.
