In this paper, an efficient frond-end circuit for Magneto-resistance (MR) based angle sensor is proposed. The front-end uses a simple technique to process the inherent non-linear outputs from MR angle sensor. The final output of front-end varies linearly with-respect-to input angle over full-circle range. The Logic Unit employed in the circuit gives digital output without using an analog-to-digital converter. The functionality and performance of proposed front-end circuit is checked using simulation and circuit-implementation studies. The worst-case non-linearity obtained in circuit-implementation study is less than 0.12 %. A prototype angle sensing unit is built and it is interfaced to the front-end. The final output of the frontend varies linearly over 360 range and the worst-case non-linearity in angle measurement is less than 0.53 %.
