摘要

The PV power has been primarily used to power non-traction load of Railway System. This paper proposes to use PV network to supplya portion of traction load in case of Single-Phase AC Railway system. The research focusses on the reduction of harmonics and thus achievingbetter output power quality. The PV network is connected in between 2 substations. In this paper autotransformer-based substation networkis used for AC railway system. The study can play important role towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which calls forinvestment in clean energy sources by wider range of technologies.
