Detection of the crack by reducing the influence of the magnetic domain based on the MOI

摘要

A new method to detect the metallic crack is proposed in this paper that is based on the magnetic optic image. As an improvement of detection device, the magnetic optic image is more and more accurate and some magnetic domain can be detected using the experiment device. And the magnetic domain in the image is as the similar as the crack, so it is hard to recognize the real crack. The new method utilize the connectivity theory and statistic approach to decrease the influences of the magnetic domain. Also it can enhance the crack image very well. The result shows that it can be used in detecting small crack and can make the crack clearer.
