Analysis on Social Economic Effect Pulled by Freeway Investment

Freeway hastens the development of social economy greatly. On basis of multiplier model and input-output model, this paper analyses the social economic benefits of freeway project investment. It takes Chang-ping Freeway for example to evaluate how freeway construction project influences the national economy in quantity. The result illuminates that the substantive fund invested on freeway construction not only forms freeway itself, but also increases the number of employees and enhances the national economy. The investment pulling benefits are evident. Because of the difference of calculating ranges, there exits difference between the results being reckoned by the two models.
