摘要

Hill running has been adopted as resistance training in order to boost up muscular strength and endurance during races. However, it is possible to cause muscle injuries and muscle pain especially in our lower extremities since it is repetitive eccentric action. Hence, it is necessary to conduct a study to investigate the kinetic and kinematic impacts during level and uphill walking and running. The objective of this study is to identify the kinetic and kinematic impact at lower extremity for level and incline walking and running, such as VGRF, knee joint moment, step length, stride length, and cadence. 30 subjects had been recruited for this study. Inverse dynamic method been applied to calculate the knee joint moment and statistical t-test had conducted to compare the difference between different inclined slopes. Results showed that as incline slopes increased, VGRF, step length, stride length were decreased, but knee joint moment and cadence were increase.
