Evaluation results of a time division multiple access (TDMA) slowfrequency hopping (SFH) system, using a dual signal receiver (DSR), arepresented for the Rayleigh fading channel. With the DSR two narrow bandbinary phase shift keying (BPSK) co-channel signals can be receivedsimultaneously. The DSR is used in the uplink to allow two userssimultaneously in a frequency band, and is shown to enhance the systemcapacity significantly compared to a conventional receiver. In addition,antenna diversity is used in the uplink, and convolutional coding isused for the uplink and downlink. Both, single and multiple-cellularsystems are investigated. The performance is evaluated using simulationresults in terms of the average BER, capacity and spectral efficiency,using the COST 207 channel model for the macro-cellular channel
