Bandler and Kohout's (1980) pattern of inference is based onrelational products (relational compositions), and can be seen as aframework of approximate reasoning of two theoretical facets. One is aset of fuzzy relational inference structures which are nothing butdeductive rules. The other, being a theoretical paradigm, namely thechecklist paradigm, copes with the traditional problem of choosing amonga panoply of fuzzy logic connectives which are used to evaluate theinference structures
