We provide a guided tour of the essential elements of fuzzydynamic programming. We present both the aspects that are now classic inany discussion of the topic as well as its modern variants including ourrecently introduced fuzzy criterion dynamic programming. We include thecomputational aspects a well as various key real world applications. Weconclude with a paint brush of the research topics that have potentialfor significant contributions to the field
