摘要

This paper presents the optimum termination method of a TEM cell,in which hybrid termination resistor array networks are utilized. Thecurrent stream on the septum, and on the terminal end of a TEM cell isanalyzed by numerical analysis. Based on the result of the circuitanalysis, the optimum resistor array network is designed, which assuresefficient power dissipation, and straight and a uniform current stream.Thermovision photos were taken for comparing the above mentioned networkwith the conventional termination network on which each resistor isarranged for uniform current distribution. The results of thermovisionphotos show a good agreement with those obtained by numerical analysis
