Reducing the Total Cost of Ownership of Virtual Computer and Network Systems

摘要

In this paper we discuss how to minimize TCO of vir-tual networks by considering different sources of costapplied to the resulting resource amount obtained from the measurements obtained from the system, the eventsnotified by external detectors, and the anticipation ofthe amount of resources required by the target system,learnt from previous experiences with both the mea-surements and external events.
