A general multi-zonal technology with moving boundaries has been developed to carry out unsteady flow simulations for complex geometries. The fully implicit discretized equation is solved using either a point relaxation scheme or a dual-step explicit multi-grid solver. The multi-grid solver is shown to be much more efficient than the point relaxation method. State-of-the-art Godunov Scheme with Roe flux splitting is used to calculate the inviscid flux. The issues of grid remapping after boundary deformation and the space conservation law for moving grid are also discussed. Several representative flow problems are solved. The developed technology is shown to be accurate, robust and efficient.
