Onsite Sludge Treatment Improves Environmental Compliance and Reduces Cost

摘要

This paper provides information on an onsite biological process that makes use of industrial fermentation to treat organic compounds in oily hazardous waste (K & F wastes) to non-hazardous "delistable" levels. Performance information from full scale and pilot operations from North and South American refineries is provided and regulatory compliance is discussed.
