The Williams' Timed Manual Performance (TMP) test is an assessmenttool that is used to evaluate the ability for elderly persons tofunction adequately in daily life. It consists of a panel with threedoors that have three different latches. Presently there is onlyqualitative information on the anatomical structures involved inperforming the five tasks that comprise this testing protocol. Kinematicdata from motion capture studies can be used to develop quantitativedata that can more accurately identify the musculo-skeletal componentsinvolved and measure the period and the magnitude of their utilization
