In the architectural field, consensus building betweenstakeholders such as architects and clients is necessary toenhance the quality of the decision-making. Communicationsystems play an important role in providing a platform on whichideas can be shared between several people. Although conductingremote meetings such as video conferencing has manyadvantages to time, cost, and energy used for traveling whencompared with face-to-face meetings, there is a lack of presencefelt when communicating with other people. Telepresence allowsone to feel as though other users in remote areas were presentlyat the same location, otherwise known as pseudo-face-to-facecommunication1). Telepresence has the ability to combine faceto-face meeting with remote meeting.Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) can provideimmersive experiences with people wearing VR/MR-HeadMounted Display (HMD). Kantonen et al. proposed an MRtelepresence system, Augmented Collaboration in MixedEnvironment (ACME) that can share 3D virtual objects made inBuilding Information Modeling (BIM) software betweenstakeholders2). However, this system requires 3D virtual modelsto be made in advance, making it difficult to share 3D physicalobjects whose shapes continuously change in real-time.
