Abstract: The Monte Carlo technique is applied to model the radiation transfer in a radiometric system, consisting of a cavity radiator, a stray radiation trap with two apertures, and a cavity radiometer. The algorithms for the statistical simulation of the non-isothermal black body, the cavity detector, and the radiation trap are described. The method is used for the numerical simulation of the radiative heat transfer in the radiometric system for the precise determination of the Stefan-Boltzmann constant.!23
