Abstract: We are studying structures in CFRP with bonded piezoelectric sensors and actuators, able to monitor and compensate the vibrations affecting the performance of these systems. In this paper a detailed description of the simulation model is presented and the results compared with the experimental measurements. The transient response of a plate structure under vibrations with and without feedback control are shown.!7
