The problems of a plane wave scattering from a multilayeredresistive strip grating embedded in a dielectric slab without and withan impedance plane and a multilayered perpendicularly crossed resistivestrip grating in free space have been analyzed in order to investigatethe absorption and scattering characteristics of resistive gratings.Each of considered problems is converted into a set of integralequations, which were solved by the moment method with appropriate basisfunctions to ensure a fast convergence. It has been verified that theobtained solutions are very efficient over a broad range of parametersof the incident wave and considered gratings
