Many techniques are available for the elicitation and refinementof requirements. Combining communication with reference to an artifactcan facilitate communication by allowing "design by doing" Our approachis to provide a software tool that capitalizes on the "language of theGUI", combining visual and textual information synergistically forcommunication facilitation. The use of graphical user interfaces (GUIs)has become ubiquitous through the use of operating system interfaces.Through this interaction paradigm, the usage of widgets has becomestandardized to the point where the placement and usage of widgets areessentially a visual language - the language of the GUI. This approachprovides an alternative to questionnaires when face-to-facecommunication is infeasible. It is intended as a tool for initialrequirements gathering. The GRC (Graphical Requirements Collector)environment promises the ability to automate many time-consuming aspectsof the analysis
