An approach based on the concept of use case to produce dynamicobject-oriented specifications

Presents an approach based on the concept of “usecase” to support the requirements engineering process. Theproposed approach assists the analyst in producing dynamicobject-oriented requirements specifications. The approach is“domain expert-oriented” in the sense that the domain expertcan actively participate during the requirements acquisition activity byidentifying and by describing the use cases. A formal technique usingPetri nets is also proposed during the requirements acquisition activityin order to make the domain expert's requirements as complete and asunambiguous as possible. During the requirements conceptualizationactivity, the explanation of how some parts of dynamic requirementsspecifications can be produced from the formalized use cases ispresented
