Laser anemometer measurements in a centrifugal compressor

The measurement of the flowfield in vaneless and vaned diffuser ofhigh speed centrifugal compressor is reported in this paper. The flowmeasurement was carried out using a laser two focus velocimeter. Theblade to blade distributions of absolute velocity and angle are comparedwith numerical distributions. The numerical results were obtained byusing three-dimensional Navier-Stokes solver.
