Using of oscillatory conning experimental rig for separation ofrotary and unsteady aerodynamic derivatives

The TsAGI's oscillatory conning experimental rig is presented. Themodel motion kinematics are considered. The test procedure and dataprocessing technique are described. The unsteady aerodynamiccharacteristics for 70 degree delta wing at high angles of attack arepresented. The experimental technique to obtain the pure unsteadyaerodynamic derivatives (derivatives with respect to α˙ andβ˙) with the use of this rig is considered. The results ofsmall amplitude forced oscillations and oscillatory conning are compared
